Leather Satchel Love : Part IV

My leather Satchel love posts are turning into something of a series. My newest addition, white 11"  Leather Satchel Company bag lasted approximately 4 days before Biba nabbed it. I have to admit that it looks spot on with my fluro orange Day Birger et Mikkelsen t-shirt (that she also managed to nab on this holiday).

White is just perfect in the sunshine and this 11" size has been a perfect holiday handbag.

Betty : A Photo I'm Proud Of

This week's photo theme on The Gallery is A Photo I'm Proud Of. This pic isn't a masterpiece but I love it. It's one of my all time favourite photos of my youngest child, Betty.

Big brown eyes, innocent baby face, the cutest nose in the whole world. Her beauty takes my breath away and I can't quite believe that she grew inside me.
I love her so much that this photo makes my heart ache. She's a deep, sensitive soul my baby girl and I hope that she grows with the confidence and strength of character she needs to overcome the difficulties of being a square peg trying to fit into a round hole.

I love you Boo. x

Haribo Easter

Working with brands you love is one of the best blogging perks. But with great perks, comes great responsibility and I have to say, that over the last few months I failed one such beloved brand repeatedly.

This post is to say sorry, but Haribo, as soon as I open a box of goodies from you, the contents disappear into thin air when I'm not looking.

The culprits know who they are and I have to see this as a testament to how awesome Haribo are, but the constant disappearing of items that I would like to photograph and share with you really isn't constructive to good blogging.

I foiled the thieves this time though... well partially and for long enough to get a picture of more than an empty box.

I admit to hiding the Twist 'n' Stick under my desk because there's no way I'm letting the kids eat it. It reminds me too much of my beloved 1970's game of Misfits,
I do have a further confession to make... the Haribo Easter Fun Bucket was empty in this photograph...

What can I say? We tried but we love Haribo just a little bit too much to allow it to fester around the house for longer than five minutes.

Haribo.... It's not just for kids!

Vintage Big Eye Art

I LOVE my collection of Vintage Big Eye Art. I've been avidly collecting for a couple of years now and I always get a buzz when I come across one on my travels, but nothing comes close to the amazing feeling I get when one of my friends spots one, does the deal and sends it to me in the post.

Thank you Claire. xx

Satchel Lover : The Gallery

The Gallery : What I'm Doing Right Now

Yesterday I visited The Leather Satchel Company. For a satchel geek, that's a pretty awesome day out, even when you are stuck on the motorway for hours.

What's especially awesome is that I came away from from my visit as their new PR.

In my line of business having clients that you love really is more than half of the game. It's easy to inspire others when you are truly passionate about a brand. I've shown that time and time again through my 18 years in public relations and I cannot wait to get stuck in.
